Air “fried” Egg Rolls

When you need a snack, a bite for lunch, crave take out, make your own egg rolls. Shrimp, pork and best of all air fry them! Try them! Your family will enjoy them.


3.5 oz glass noodle, 1 package

hot water, for soaking

1 cup shredded red cabbage

1 cup shredded green cabbage

1 cup shredded carrot

½ cup scallions, chopped

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

12-15 egg roll wrappers

1/2 lb chopped cleaned and deveined shrimp

1/2 lb of ground pork

1 /2 cup water, for sealing


Place the glass noodles in a bowl and add enough hot water to cover. Let sit for 10 minutes, until softened. Drain the noodles and chop into ½-inch pieces.

In a large bowl, mix together the chopped glass noodles, cabbage, carrots, scallions, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss until well combined.

Add shrimp to one half of the cabbage mixture and ground pork to the other half. Keep your egg rolls separate or mixed them up for surprises for your guests and family.

Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean work surface and add 2 tablespoons of filling to the center. Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll. Lightly wet the exposed with your fingertip and continue rolling to seal the egg roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Use your air fryer at 400 degrees for 6 minutes to “fry” your egg rolls and enjoy!
