Egg & Sausage Casserole

A simple yet delicious, filling breakfast.


4-6 eggs scrambled with a fork

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt optional

1/2 pound browned Italian sausage (I used a combination of sweet & hot)

2 slices bread cut into cubes & slightly dried

1 cup milk


Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease a 9×13 pan

Remove the casing off the sausages and in a non stick pan over medium high heat, brown sausages using a wooden spoon to break up. Once is brown, drain if necessary and set aside.

Scramble eggs in a mixing bowl and then stir in milk.

Add remaining ingredients to mixing bowl and stir well, pour into pan and bake for 20- 30 minutes.
