Sausage Pepperoni Rolls

Need a snack for the kids? Feeling peckish? Look no further these Sausage Pepperoni Rolls will satisfy you and the kids! Enjoy!

1 pizza dough (I used Phillsbury)

16oz packaged Italian sausage (I used the mix sweet and hot)

1.5 cups of shredded Mozarella cheese

20 rounds of turkey pepperoni

1/4 cup of marinara sauce (for serving)

Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and have a cookie sheet ready on hand. No need to spray or grease.

In an non stick skillet over medium high heat, brown your sausage after you have removed the casings and crumbled them. Stir frequently until brown all over. Remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool for 3-5 minutes.

While the sausage browns and/or cools off, lay out your pizza dough into a rectangle.

Spoon your sausage on top of dough. Layer some cheese, pepperoni and more cheese 😝 Roll and make sure all the goodness stays inside. Harder than you think, at least for me jajaja

Cut your roll into 9-10 pieces trying to make them all the same size. Another fun task!

Place them on cookie sheet allowing them enough space so they will not have to touch. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until they start to get golden on top. Keep watch closely.

Serve while hot with marinara and enjoy!
