Guava Protein Oatmeal

2 guavas. (If you can find red better)

1 cup Quaker Oats

2 cups water

12 oz of milk or protein shake

3-6 cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

Dash of salt


Peel the guava, remove the seeds (optional) and cut the flesh into small cubes.

Add the cloves, cinnamon and salt to a pot with the water and bring it to a boil, adding the guava cubes once the water is boiling. Boil until the guava is soft.

Add the oats and milk or protein shake. Stir well and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes.

Once oatmeal is your preferred consistency, pour into a bowl and top with a few more pieces of guava. Serve hot and enjoy!
