This healthy twist is great. Try it!
1 lb of ground Turkey
1 cup of red shredded cabbage (red or green)
2 springs of green onions
1 Tbs of hoisin sauce
1 Tbs of low sodium soy sauce
1/2 Tbs of sesame oil
1-2 garlic cloves
1 tsp of minced ginger
20-30 wonton wrappers
1/4 of water
Sesame oil for initial frying
In a bowl, mix all ingredients except water and wrappers of course 🙂
Working with one at a time, spoon 1Tbs of turkey mix in one wrapper. Wet your fingers and pass them all around the edge of the wrapper and close it by squeezing the edges together.
Continue to work with the rest until wrappers or turkey mix runs out
In a wok or deep non stick pan, heat up one Tbs of sesame oil over medium high heat.
Add 6-7 pot stickers and let it cook for 2 minutes. Turn and let the other side get golden.
Add 1/4 cup of water to the wok and cover with lid, until the water evaporates.
Serve with soy sauce (I mix my soy sauce with a little rice vinegar and a little green onion.
